Clearings are $150 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Two hours covers up to 2,000 square feet — every additional 1,000 square feet adds one hour.

Working With the Ground

Land Healing

2 Hours On-Site • $300

Interiors hold what happened inside them. Land holds something older and usually heavier — what the ground has carried, who was here before, what the place was used for, and what was never resolved on it.

Land healing is on-site work with the property itself: gardens, yards, acreage, the boundaries and thresholds of a plot, and the ground a building stands on. It is a flat two hours rather than square-footage pricing, because land does not divide up the way rooms do.

As with a house clearing, a consultation is scheduled first so we can talk through the history of the place and what you have noticed.

Interior and ground treated as one system, because they usually are. A house sitting on unsettled land will keep picking it back up, and clearing only one half often means doing the other within a year anyway. Four hours on-site in a single visit, covering a home up to 4,000 square feet along with its grounds.

How do I book if my home is larger than 2,000 square feet?

Book the two-hour clearing first, then add the additional hour or hours for your square footage. If you are unsure, book the two hours — CanDace will confirm the right amount of time with you during the consultation.

What happens in the consultation?

After you book, CanDace contacts you to schedule it. You go over what is happening in the space, its history, what you want cleared, and what needs to be done beforehand so the clearing can fully take. The consultation is part of the service — it is not billed separately.

Do I need to be home during the clearing?

It depends on the space and what is being cleared. This is decided together during the consultation — some clearings are stronger with the household present, others are better done in a quiet, empty home.

What areas do you serve?

Clearings are done in person in Detroit and the surrounding Metro Detroit area. For locations further out, reach out and CanDace will let you know what is possible.

Can you clear a business, studio, or rental?

Yes. Homes, apartments, studios, offices, retail spaces, and new builds are all cleared using the same square footage pricing. For rentals, please make sure you have permission to have the work done.

Should I book a clearing or a session for myself?

If the heaviness follows you everywhere, start with a session for yourself. If it lives in one place — a room, a house, a piece of ground — start with a clearing. If you are not sure which, the diagram on the sessions page is a good place to start.
